Bacon beads
Have you ever eaten the baked delipotato thingie at delifrance?? Did you notice the bacon beads (the brown tiny little beads) that they sprinkle on top of the dish? I was looking for it to make my potato salad. I saw a bottle at NTUC and I wanted to get it.. when suddenly it struck me that bacon originally comes from ... err .. oint oint meat. However, when I look at the ingredients, it states that it is actually made up of bean flour topped with artificial and natural flavours. The natural flavour part worries me. Not wanting to feel 'was was' , I didnt get it and proceeded on with my salad without it anyway. It still turns out quite nice. Simple and delicious.. yum yum ..
